Bob Ray Co. Inc TCIA Accreditation

This past May, Bob Ray Co. (BRC), Inc., joined the Tree Care Industry Association (TCIA)’s Accreditation Program and became Kentucky’s fifth tree care company to receive accreditation in its ongoing mission to provide up-to-date safety and professionalism for its workers and customers.

The Accreditation program is the only such program in the tree care industry. This program evaluates businesses to “ensure that professional practices and standards are met in every department and at every level of the company.”

TCIA, begun circa 1938 and formerly known as the National Arborist Association, is tree care’s oldest and most respected tree care trade association. It is made up of more than 2,300 tree care and affiliated companies, both nationally and internationally.

“TCIA’s mission continues to be one that “develops safety and education programs, standards for tree care practice and management information for tree and landscape firms around the world.”

In its 75th year, TCIA continues to help tree care companies grow and “keep employees safe.” “It shows customers that this is a model tree care company, the best in the area, and raises the bar for other tree care companies in the area,” said Bob Rouse, TCIA’s chief program officer. Since BRC’s inception in 1960, its mission has provided its customers with excellent service and knowledge. Along with the assimilation of new technology, and new and improved methods of performing all our work safely, competently, and effectively, BRC is partnering with TCIA in its ongoing efforts to be a premier tree company, for both its employees, their families, and the public it is dedicated to serve.
