Why Bob Ray Co., Inc.?

Bob Ray Co., Inc., has nearly 60 years of experience, and employs numerous Certified Arborists and highly trained professionals.

What is the cost of removing trees?

The cost to remove a tree varies depending on species, size, proximity to structures, utility lines, and accessibility. Each situation is unique and must be determined by an arborist. Bob Ray Co., Inc., does offer free estimates.

What is done with the trees after they are removed?

You have the option to “cut and leave lay,” which means you may keep what is cut for your own repurposing. We also “haul away all debris.” When we haul away, we recycle into such products as mulch, pulp wood, for fuel chips.

Do I have to be home for the estimate?

No. You have the option to schedule an appointment with one of our Certified Arborists or allow them to stop by during our business hours. They will assess what was requested, and leave a proposal either in the front door, or send it via email.

Why use a TCIA Accredited company?

The TCIA Accreditation Program is a voluntary program that credential companies that meet stringent criteria for professionalism, employee training, state and federal safety regulations, business ethics and customer satisfaction.  Under the process, businesses undergo an extensive review and a comprehensive audit of professional and business practices aimed at safeguarding consumers.

How long before I receive an estimate?

If you request an appointment with one of our Certified Arborists, it may take longer. When you call to request an estimate, our friendly staff will give you an approximate window.

When will the work be done?

This is dependent on how promptly you agree to our proposal and submit. Once received, you will get a call from our office staff to set up a time that is mutually beneficial. During peak seasons, we tend to book quickly, but we are able give you approximate times when you confirm the work requested.

What about the stump?

When our Certified Arborist initially comes out, he/she will include the service for grinding the stump, unless you request otherwise. Once the tree work has been completed, we then will set up a time for the stump to be removed. We do this separately, so that Before You Dig (BUD) can locate the stump to help ensure minimal and/or no damage to any underground utility lines.

Do I have to be home for the service?

No. When our Certified Arborists assess the requested work, they can decide the most efficient and safe way to complete the work. They will determine how our employees can perform the job.

What is the process to getting my tree removed?

When you decide you would like to receive a professional assessment of your trees/shrubs, you start by placing a call to Bob Ray Co., Inc. One of our welcoming staff receive the necessary information to write up your request for our Certified Arborists. Once that request is made, one of our Certified Arborists will be assigned to contact you and assess the potential work. When you receive our proposal, you will have the option to accept or deny it. If you wish to continue, submit a signed copy. Our office staff will then call to schedule your work. If you choose to have the stump removed, we will call BUD to locate utilities after the tree work is completed. When the utilities have been located, we will call to schedule a time for removal of the stump. After the entire job is finished, we will send an invoice.
